The Will Poet
The Will Poet is a heartfelt poetry and copywriting brand offering personalised poems for life’s most meaningful moments — from love and legacy to weddings and brands. Ashley, a former lawyer turned poet, wanted a soft, emotional, and creative online space to showcase her unique service.
With my Website in a Week package, I designed and built a fully custom, one-page WordPress Elementor website in just three days. The build included pastel-themed branding, original AI-generated imagery, and playful design flourishes to reflect Ashley’s poetic personality and brand voice.

Design
Ashley envisioned something creative, light, and emotionally engaging — far from a typical portfolio site. I created a soft pastel branding palette, combining handwritten and geometric fonts, and designed over 100 AI-generated images featuring iridescent textures (shells, feathers, flowers, clouds, waves) for use across the website and social media.
The design flows like a poem: organic, non-boxy, with animated quote cards, floating lines, and soft movement throughout. A standout feature is a custom HTML/CSS “card corner” design element, mimicking physical paper held in vintage photo mounts — adding a nostalgic, tactile feel that fits the brand’s love for real, tangible words.
Animations and text reveals were added throughout to enhance storytelling and bring a sense of intimacy and joy — mirroring Ashley’s voice as a copywriter and poet.

This WordPress Elementor one-page website was turned around in three days and includes everything needed for a smooth, secure experience:
