Hemmels, the world’s finest restorer of classic Mercedes-Benz automobiles, embarked on a website transformation to reflect their prestigious brand. While the unique and innovative design was crafted by Poppins Agency, I was entrusted with the development aspect of the Hemmels website, ensuring that the artistic vision was brought to life with technical precision.
I translated a high-end Figma design into a fully interactive WordPress build, using custom JavaScript animations and ACF-powered templates to support Hemmels’ luxury brand vision.

Design
The design, featuring stunning photography and custom elements, was provided by Poppins Agency. They delivered comprehensive Figma files along with animation references that guided the bespoke aesthetic of the site. Their work set a solid foundation for a visually compelling digital experience that aligns with Hemmels’ luxury branding.
Development
The development of the Hemmels site uses WordPress and Elementor, ensuring that the sophisticated design was matched by equally advanced functionality. Despite the extensive custom CSS and JavaScript, the site remains user-friendly for updates by the team, thanks to the intuitive interface of the Elementor page builder. Key features include dynamic JavaScript animations that enhance the user experience by animating text on view and modifying the background color as users scroll.
This project included eight unique page designs, two custom post types, and dynamic templates that leverage Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to manage and display varied content efficiently. These custom post types and templates enable Hemmels to showcase their specialized services and craftsmanship distinctively and effectively.
Unique interface elements like a novel menu system and a custom mouse cursor were implemented to enhance navigation and reinforce the brand’s high-end feel.
